If you’ve noticed me less on social media lately, it hasn’t been because I’ve disappeared!

It's quite the opposite in fact. For some time, I’ve been increasingly immersed in one of those creative cycles where the ideas come faster than I can share them! Rather than chasing the wheel trying to keep posting, I chose to put my energy into creating. After all, the most meaningful work often happens quietly, behind the scenes doesn't it? And it really feels like so many years of creation are now weaving together into something much bigger than I first imagined. As we move into July, I thought it was time to share a little of what I’ve been up to.

The biggest news is that Energy Alchemy has its own podcast! You can find me on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud and other platforms, where I’ll be sharing guided meditations, reflections and conversations to support your journey.

My Colour Alchemy and Mandala Meditations gallery is growing. You will soon be able to buy high quality hand finished limited-edition artworks through my new Etsy shop. Energy Alchemy Studios.

I’ve been working on a new book, including a beautiful new series of illustrations which I’m so excited to show you. Some of them will be on display in our local Brightlingsea library during July.

I’ve completed a gorgeous new collection of Alchemy Key pendants, now available in every colour imaginable. You will be able to purchase these from my Brightlingsea shop and online via the Etsy shop.

You can purchase all of my current books online through the link in the title tab on my home page. In addition to this, I keep a small stock of them here at the centre if you’d like to collect one in person.

My little centre, is now in it's 8th year and I am ever grateful for this beautiful space which has held and offered a sense of belonging and healing to so many people over these years.

I wanted to share a recent joyful moment with you too. A couple of weeks ago, someone came into describing an image they had seen in the window which they'd really connected with. I knew immediately which one they meant. When I found it and showed it to the, they smiled, bought it straight away and left already knowing exactly where it belonged. As they stepped out into the street, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

Creating something is one jo, as you will know if you already create regularly yourself. Having the courage to share it is another. But watching something you’ve created be truly seen, recognised and appreciated? Honestly, this is absolute gold dust! That never grows old. I’m quite certain it never will.

I’ve always created. My mum still tells stories of finding me quietly drawing before anyone else was awake. Looking back I realise that was my first meditation—a peaceful place where imagination and intuition met before the world got busy and clamoured for attention.

Over the years I’ve reflected a great deal on creativity. Like many artists and writers, I’ve experienced imitation too. Just last week, I read my own exact words echoed back to me from elsewhere on social media. I had completed final edits and similarity check on something I written (and shared) some time ago. It was very much 'me' - a bit poetic, just not a combination of words which could have been arrived at randomly, which had clearly 'inspired' someone else's post! At the time I had no choice but to laugh and take it as a compliment. But again and again this reminds me of something important. And that is this:

True creativity isn’t just about making something acceptable, immaculate, or even perfect. It's about allowing your own unique relationship with life to express itself. When we create from this place, colour, pattern and symbol are so much more than decoration. They are language. A quiet expression of something only we can communicate. No one else can create quite the same way that you do. No one else can create the way I do. And this uniqueness is where the true magic lives.

Continuing to learn Another highlight this month has been completing my Diploma in Jungian Archetypes (with a distinction). Undertaking this course was inspired by another creative idea that I’ll share with you later More than anything, it has brought together so many of the themes that have fascinated me throughout my life—archetype and story, symbolism, the divine feminine and our relationship with the unconscious. Although qualifications have their place, I’ve come to realise that what matters most is not the certificates themselves, but the understanding they represent. My work today is the culmination of more than twenty-five years of exploring art, health, colour, psychology, healing and spirituality. Throughout that time I’ve been asking one simple question:

'How do I help people reconnect with their authentic selves?'

Everything I create—whether through books, artwork, meditations or personalised mandalas—is my continuing exploration of that question.

If it’s been a little while since we last connected, I hope life has been treating you kindly. Thank you for continuing to support my work and for allowing me the space to create. Whether you visit through a podcast, a book, a meditation, a piece of artwork or simply by stopping by the shop for a chat, please know you’re always warmly welcome.

As always, my door, my inbox and most importantly my heart remain open.

With all my love,

Ether Real
