The gift of presence

This seems an appropriate subject to launch our new websites and newsletter with. Lately, life seems increasingly driven towards keeping us all 'busy' leaping successive hoops. You may be finding that this feels even more intense if you are attempting to beat a path less travelled.
Have you ever heard that phrase 'your presence is the best present' ? If you have, let this serve as a timely reminder, and if you haven't, well then I suggest you listen up and take heed! My message here is that when you bring your full unwavering presence to something, It truly is the greatest, most transformative gift you can give - to yourself and others.
We each need to find our own way of embracing and harnessing our inner sorcerer, letting them work their magic on whatever life delivers us. Within this concept, you will also find the key to the variety of unique ways in which we can help you. So I hope that this post offers some new ways of looking at things, along with a sense of inspiration, empowerment and hope.

Colour Alchemy - THE SORCERER
'A teller of fortunes; a person of magical powers'
My message here is to focus on presence as your greatest gift! Take a few moments to consider what patterns and messages life is highlighting lately. Which areas which would benefit from a little of your own sorcery? How are you feeling physically? emotionally? mentally? spiritually? How are things relating to money, career, your sense of purpose? relationships? Pick the one which feels like it needs the most urgent attention right now and make a note. Now ask yourself:
Is this a new issue, or something you have experienced before?
How have you dealt with it previously?
Did that work?
What is your attitude towards it?
Do you see it as a problem? My reason for asking this is that the real solution will often be hidden in plain sight! Instead of trying to solve the issue by finding ways of hiding, blocking, or eradicating it, I suggest instead simply giving it your full awareness. Sit with it, look it in the eyes, tune inwards and connect with your intuition. Ask what your higher self might want you to notice through this issue. You might want to ask things like 'what am I being shown? ' 'If this was a dream, how might I interpret it?' 'What metaphor might this experience be illustrating?
Finally I suggest that you ask this crucial question 'What can I learn from this experience?' When you open to and accept the learning opportunity hidden in the issue, it is able to resolve! At this point, as always, practice gratitude for whatever comes to light. You can repeat this exercise as frequently as you wish. It is a powerful practice which we will elaborate on in your sessions too.

Crystal tips- Labradorite
Labradorite is a beautiful , layered rock that refracts and reflects light. It is loved by many for this multi-coloured iridescence. Available in astonishing blends of blue, violet, indigo, green, and even pink, it has a truly magical feel. Legend has it that Inuit warriors would strike the rock to activate the lights of the Aurora borealis, capturing them within the Labradorite. It was also thought to contain the spirit of the ancestors.
Today, its reflective properties are often recommended for shifting stagnant, dense energies. Working well with the third eye, it will enhance psychic connection and intuitive power, increasing your awareness day to day. Remember that all intention work is interactive, so if you are not using your crystal to manifest in line with highest good, the reflective qualities of Labradorite will come into play!

Calling all Angels- Ariel
Ariel’s name means Lioness of God. She is depicted as a divine warrior, connected with the element of water, earth and other planets
Caring for earth and its resources, she protects wildlife and all natural beings. She may be symbolised by imagery of lions, wild flowers and the moon. Her colours may be illustrated as shades of soft pink, blue and silvery white.
Activity: Call on Ariel's pink light to help connect more strongly with the energy of the natural world and with resources in nature. You can ask her to provide sufficient food and shelter and for assistance with healing the earth, animals and plants.
Meditation Group
Taking place fortnightly on Fridays at Silver Topaz, 1C Queen Street, Brightlingsea, these relaxed but informative group sessions will offer some quiet non judgemental space to develop and expand your existing healing and spiritual practice. Over a number of weeks we will introduce you to meditation, grounding, connecting, channelling and intuitive reading methods incorporating colour, sound, crystal and energy healing.
You have been asking for some time for us to bring back a meditation and energy healing group and we have listened. Whether you are already training with us; coming for one to one sessions; or looking to sample what we offer and meet likeminded others, these sessions are a great, low cost way of enhancing this. We would be delighted to introduce you to a new way of interacting with the energy around you. Individual sessions cost £15 or you can book a block of four for £40.
